Charlie Morton pitched 2/3 of an inning Friday, allowing four hits, six runs (all unearned), and two walks while striking out one batter. He earned the loss and is now 2-2 on the year. He threw 36 pitches, 22 for strikes. His ERA stands at 4.98.
Fantasy Impact:
Morton was throwing strikes, but his location was poor and the Phillies just hit everything offered. The jury is still out on Morton as far as performance is concerned but he'll get the benefit of the doubt given his history.
