Harrison Bader launches third homer in win over Rockies

by Lucas Spence | Mets Correspondent | Sat, May 8th 12:02am EDT

Harrison Bader went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the Cardinals 5-0 win over the Rockies on Friday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Bader took an Austin Gomber curveball for a ride over the fence in left-center to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead in the second inning which was all the run support Jack Flaherty would need on the night (although he would homer himself as well the following inning). Bader is hitting just .231 through his first eight games of the season but already has three homers, two steals, and an impressive .891 OPS. He's known best for his terrific glove in centerfield, but he's showing a nice power/speed combo that could prove to be very useful in fantasy leagues.
