Dylan Carlson goes 2-for-4 with an RBI on Friday

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Sat, May 8th 12:08am EDT

Dylan Carlson singled twice in four at-bats on Friday night and drove in his 16th run of the season with an RBI single to center in the fifth inning.

Fantasy Impact:

The switch-hitting 22-year-old has found himself firmly entrenched in a favorable spot in the lineup, batting second behind Tommy Edman and in front of Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado. However, he's been rather quiet over the past couple of weeks and still has mysteriously yet to attempt a stolen base this season. With that said, he's still hitting a rock-solid .283 with an .812 OPS and there are brighter days ahead for Carlson. Now would be a great time to throw out some buy-low trade offers if you can before he gets rolling.
