Liam Hendriks notches sixth save of the season

Liam Hendriks allowed two hits and struck out two batters over a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Friday’s 3-0 win over the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Hendriks yielded a leadoff double to Salvador Perez and then eventually loaded the bases. With two outs and the bases loaded, Hendriks got Royals INF Nicky Lopez to fly out to earn his sixth save of the season. The 32-year-old has now converted six of eight save chances this season. Hendriks owns a 3.55 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and a 21:1 K: BB across 12 2/3 innings in 2021.
