Zack Collins went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, one walk and two strikeouts during Friday’s 3-0 win over the Royals.

Collins took Brad Keller deep in the fifth inning to give the White Sox a 1-0 lead. It was the only run support Carlos Rodon would need as the White Sox beat the Royals 3-0. Collins drew the start at catcher over Yasmani Grandal on Friday and has now collected a hit in three of his last five appearances. The 26-year-old is slashing .220/.347/.415 with two home runs, six RBI, and five runs scored across 49 plate appearances in 2021.
