Rockies second baseman Ryan McMahon was one of just four Colorado players to log a base hit on Friday. He finished 1-for-4 with a single while batting out of the third spot. He also struck out. The Rockies fell to the Cardinals, 5-0.
Fantasy Impact:
McMahon is swinging a solid bat this season, slashing .264/.313/.504 through 32 games. The power output has been most impressive as he is already at eight home runs this season. He also has nine walks, 21 RBI, and 31 strikeouts to his name. The 26-year-old ranks 17th among all second basemen in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
