LHP Julio Urias took his first loss of the year on Friday when he allowed five runs on eight hits with four strikeouts across five innings in the Dodgers' 9-2 loss to the Angels on Friday.
On paper, this was Urias' worst start of the year. The Angels got him to in the second inning when he allowed a pair of solo home runs to Justin Upton and Taylor Ward, respectively. He then allowed two more runs before escaping the frame. The poor outing elevated his season ERA to 3.59 to go along with a 0.98 WHIP. He's set to face the Marlins at home in his next start.
