Astros reliever Joe Smith entered in the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the Blue Jays. He allowed one run on one hit (a home run) while also striking out one batter.

Smith is 1-1 with a 7.84 ERA, 2.03 WHIP, and .391 OBA this season, so it's safe to say that teams are hitting him well. He's walked three batters and struck out just 11. The 37-year-old right-hander has spent 14 years in the majors, including most of the last dozen (minus 16 games with the White Sox) as a member of the American League.
