Ian Kennedy reaches double-digit saves

Rangers closer Ian Kennedy has been the focal point of the Texas bullpen this season. On Saturday, he threw the ninth inning against the Mariners and did allow a run, thought it did not change the outcome of the game so he earned his 10th save of the season.

All in all, Kennedy has been instrumental in silencing opponents as games weigh on. The 36-year-old ranks 35th among relievers in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
