Tony Gonsolin to throw bullpen on Sunday

Dodgers starter Tony Gonsolin, who has been out since the start of the season with a shoulder injury, is expected to throw a bullpen on Sunday. (J.P. Hoornstra on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a good update for the right-hander, who continues to progress towards a return. The Dodgers certainly need his help in the rotation after losing Dustin May to a season-ending UCL injury. Last season, Gonsolin went 2-2 over nine games (eight starts) with a 2.31 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and .193 OBA. He also walked just seven batters while striking out 46. The 27-year-old is an intriguing fantasy option once he returns, ranking 89th among all starters in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
