Luis Torrens hits home run in Mariners loss Saturday

Luis Torrens went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run in the Mariners 9-8 loss Saturday against Texas.

Fantasy Impact:

It was looking like Torrens might be the hero of this game after hitting a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning. That quickly changed the next half inning. After Texas had already scored two runs to take the lead that next half inning, they were looking to pick up another insurance run. Seattle reliever Aaron Fletcher picked up the perfect ground ball with runners on second and third with the infield in. J.P. Crawford threw to Torrens as the runner on third went home. Torrens touched home plate as if it was a force out, forgetting to tag the runner which led to the Rangers scoring another run. The Mariners went on to only lose by one run, making that play that much more costly.
