Joe Ross allowed two earned runs against the Yankees
by Corbin Young | Brewers Correspondent | Sun, May 9th 5:07pm EDT
Nationals starter Joe Ross went five innings and allowed two earned runs. Ross also allowed three hits and five walks with seven strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Ross struck out seven batters, which is a season-high in 2021. The five walks are a bit concerning, but he limited the damage from an earned runs perspective. Ross used the sinker and four-seamer 77% of the time, but the slider is his best pitch. Outside of one start with ten earned runs, Ross allowed two or fewer runs in his five other outings.
