Trevor Bauer took the loss on Sunday vs. the Angels

by Jon Mathisen | Mon, May 10th 1:29am EDT

RHP Trevor Bauer took a loss on Sunday when he allowed two runs on four this with two walks and nine strikeouts over six innings as the Dodgers lost to the Angels 2-1 on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Bauer put up another quality start, his sixth of the season but was handed the loss. A day after scoring 14 runs the Dodgers mustered just one on Mother's Day, which wasn't enough to win the game. He walked a pair of runners in the bottom of the third inning followed by a ground-rule double to Jared Walsh, which plated both runs. Bauer exited the game in the sixth inning and still struck out nine batters but took his second loss of the season. The 30-year-old owns a 2.50 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, and a 67:14 K/BB ratio over 50 1/3 innings. He'll get the Marlins at home in his next turn.
