Neither of Myers' singles were hit particularly hard. In fact, Myers' exit velocity numbers are way down this year. Myers' strikeout numbers have also declined, so it's possible the lower exit velocity has to do with an adjusted approach for Myers at the plate. Myers has put up solid numbers so far this year, slashing .254/.345/.419 with 4 home runs and 4 stolen bases. If Myers can keep his strikeout rate down and continue to get on base at a 34% clip, he'll continue to carry plenty of fantasy value. However, Myers' power numbers are worth keeping an eye on, as a low slugging percentage and home run total will limit Myers' ceiling for this season.
