The Mets plan to place deGrom on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to May 10th. deGrom underwent an MRI on Sunday, which was “clean of any issues.” He doesn't have any structural damage but was placed on the 10-day injured list with right side tightness. deGrom exited Sunday’s win early after just 68 pitches. The Mets are being cautious with their ace and he will miss at least the next ten days.
