Mitch Keller (2-4) took the loss after giving up seven runs on seven hits and two walks over 3.1 innings against the Reds. He struck out two.

Keller got through the first inning in six pitches, but ran into major trouble in the fourth, giving up six runs in the frame. This rough outing boosted Keller's ERA to 7.81 across 27.2 innings. His next start tentatively lines up for Saturday against the Giants.
