Alex Reyes picks up second win of the season in extra innings

by Lucas Spence | Wed, May 12th 12:14am EDT

Cardinals closer Alex Reyes pitched two scoreless frames in the 10th and 11th innings on Tuesday night against Milwaukee and picked up his second win of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Reyes was wildly dominant, issuing three walks while striking out five batters in just two innings of work. Reyes pitched a scoreless 10th inning and then returned to the mound in the 11th after the Cardinals scored five runs in the top half of the inning. Walks have been a persistent bug-a-boo for Reyes this season, but he already has two wins, is a perfect 10-for-10 in save chances, and boasts a dominant 0.47 ERA with a 1.21 WHIP.
