Rafael Montero blows lead late Tuesday

Rafael Montero took the loss Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on two hits over 1.1 innings with three strikeouts.

Montero entered the game with two outs in the seventh inning, recording the final out of the inning. After recording two outs to begin the bottom half of the eighth inning, Montero allowed a single to Chris Taylor before hitting Matt Beaty on an 0-2 count which led to a three-run home run by Gavin Lux to blow a 4-3 Mariners lead. Montero has posted a 5.51 ERA out of Seattle's bullpen this year.
