Logan Webb strikes out a season-high 10 batters on Tuesday

RHP Logan Webb picked up the win on Tuesday when he allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks over six innings as the Giants defeated the Rangers 4-2.

Fantasy Impact:

This was one of Webb's best starts of the season and a much-needed one for the 24-year-old, who entered Tuesday with a 5.34 ERA. The only earned run he allowed came via a David Dahl solo home run in the top of the seventh inning. He did his job by striking out a season-best 10 batters and the Giants offense did enough to give him the win. Webb now has a 4.34 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 43:16 K/BB ratio over 38 innings (eight starts). He'll face the Reds in Cincinnati in his next start.
