Mike Tauchman reaches three times, caught stealing against Rangers

by Jon Mathisen | Cubs Correspondent | Wed, May 12th 2:35am EDT

Outfielder Mike Tauchman went 0-for-1 with three walks, a run scored, and was caught stealing in the Giants' 4-2 win over the Rangers on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Tauchman drew three walks and scored one of the Giants' four runs on the night. He's hit out of the leadoff spot in 6-of-7 games but doesn't have much to show for it, stats-wise. Since being acquired from the Yankees in late April, the 30-year-old has hit .233/.313/.372 with one home run and five RBI in 43 at-bats with the Giants. He's really just an NL-only option right now.
