Rockies catcher Dom Nunez went 1-for-2 with a single in Tuesday's loss to the Padres. He also stranded one base runner. The 26-year-old was replaced by fellow backstop Elias Diaz in the eighth inning.

Nunez is slashing .211/.282/.535 with 15 hits, including 11 extra-base and five home runs. He's also accrued seven walks and 30 strikeouts through 23 games. He ranks 41st among catchers in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
