Dinelson Lamet has another short start, makes it through 2 on Tuesday

Dinelson Lamet gave up 1 earned run in 2 innings pitched in the Padres' win over the Rockies on Tuesday. Lamet struck out 1 and walked 1 in the short outing.

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like the Padres are still being cautious with Lamet, making sure he is fully stretched out before they let him pitch deep into a game. Lamet looked decent in Colorado, but his fastball was sitting around just 93 MPH -- it sat at 97 MPH last season. It was a cold night in Colorado and Lamet still isn't fully stretched out. Both of those factors likely contributed to Lamet's decreased velocity. Still, it's worth keeping an eye on as Lamet continues to work his way back.
