Shohei Ohtani impresses on the mound and at the plate in loss vs. Houston
by Jack Mannis | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, May 12th 11:35am EDT
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a single and gave up just one earned run on four hits, one walk, and ten strikeouts over 7.0 innings pitched on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
The story of the night was Ohtani's control on the mound. After struggling with walks in early innings this season, it looks as though the two-way star is settling in nicely, striking out 10 over seven innings with just one walk. Ohtani's splitter once again looked sharp, and if he keeps this up, fantasy managers should have renewed confidence placing him into their lineups as a pitching option.
