Kris Bryant (illness) is still under the weather according to manager David Ross. He isn't available for Wednesday's game, but is hopeful to return Friday. (Bruce Levine on Twitter)

The ailment isn't believed to be COVID-related, but it appears to be hitting Bryant hard nonetheless. The Cubs are hopeful that, with a scheduled day off Thursday, Bryant can return on Friday.
