Max Muncy hits sixth homer of the year on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, May 12th 12:14pm EDT

First baseman Max Muncy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and two strikeouts as the Dodgers defeated the Mariners 6-4 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Muncy took Seattle starter Yusei Kikuchi deep in the bottom of the fourth inning to put the Dodgers on the board. It was his sixth homer of the year and his only hit of the night. He would go on to reach with a walk and strikeout twice. Muncy is getting on base at an impressive clip with a .425 OBP but he's batting just .222 while slugging .425, which are both below his career marks (.235 BA, .480 SLG).
