Will Vest struggles in relief appearance Wednesday

by Ari Koslow | Mariners Correspondent | Thu, May 13th 2:51am EDT

Will Vest allowed four runs on four hits over 1.1 innings with one strikeout and one walk on Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Fantasy Impact:

Vest entered the game in the fourth inning, inheriting a jam with runners on second and third base with one out. He was able to get a groundout to Evan White at first base with the infield playing in. White gunned out the runner at home before Vest struck out Julio Urias to get the Mariners out of the jam. It looked like he was going to toss a 1-2-3 fifth inning after recording two quick outs, but five straight base runners with two outs including a two-run home run hit by Max Muncy led to a disastrous inning tossed by Vest which he could not escape.
