Yu Darvish solid again in short start on Wednesday

Yu Darvish gave up 0 earned runs in 4 innings pitched in the Padres' win over the Rockies in the first game of their double-header on Wednesday. Darvish struck out 2 and walked 1 in the outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Darvish showed again on Wednesday why AJ Preller was justified in going out and getting him in the off-season. Darvish put up another solid line in Colorado, and now has an ERA just over 2.00 on the young season. Darvish's WHIP is still under 1, and his K/BB ratio remains solid. Darvish hasn't gotten much attention early in the year because of the brilliance of Jacob deGrom, Corbin Burnes, and Brandon Woodruff, but Darvish has certainly been one of the best pitchers in the NL this season. Darvish will get another start against the Rockies at home next week, so fantasy managers should feel more than comfortable leaving Darvish in the starting lineup for their next matchup.
