Michael Kopech allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out five across four innings in Game 2 Friday’s doubleheader against the Royals. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Kopech was efficient again, limiting the Royals to one run on two hits over four innings. He threw 60 pitches, landing 40 for strikes. The 25-year-old has been terrific in 2021 as both a starter and reliever. Kopech owns a 1.71 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 40 strikeouts across 26 1/3 innings this season.
