Jacob Junis (1-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits while striking out one across one 1/3 innings in Game 2 of Friday’s doubleheader. He was tagged with his third loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Junis struggled in Game 2 and has yet to record more than five outs in his last four appearances. He surrendered a two-run shot to Andrew Vaughn and was tagged with an unearned run before exiting after 37 pitches. Junis owns a 5.52 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and a 31:8 K: BB across 29 1/3 innings in 2021. Daniel Lynch was optioned to the minors on Friday, Junis could stick in the rotation.
