German Marquez picks up second win of the season

German Marquez (2-4) allowed four runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out eight over six innings to earn the win during Friday’s 9-6 win over the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Marquez bounced back in Friday’s outing after getting lit up for eight runs in his previous home start. He threw a total of 93 pitches, landing 61 for strikes. The 26-year-old owns a 5.56 ERA, 1.68 WHIP, and a 48:27 K: BB across 45 1/3 innings in 2021. Marquez can be used as a streamer when he’s on the road but draws the Diamondbacks at home on Wednesday.
