Johan Oviedo walks five batters in just two innings before being pulled

Cardinals starter Johan Oviedo was lifted after only two innings (57 pitches) on Friday night, having walked five batters and giving up two hits and three earned runs in a losing effort against the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Oviedo also failed to a record a strikeout in what was his worst outing of the season. The 6’5” right-hander had only walked four batters total in his previous three starts combined but certainly did not have his best stuff on Friday. Oviedo has struggled in three consecutive starts and seems to have a tenuous grasp at best on a spot in the Cardinals rotation. He belongs on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
