Chris Paddack gave up 1 earned run in 4 innings pitched in the Padres' win over the Cardinals on Saturday. Paddack struck out 2 and walked 1 in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
It was another solid, but short performance from Paddack on Saturday. Paddack only pitched 3 innings in his last start and went 4 on Saturday. Paddack's ERA is still in the mid-4's, so he hasn't exactly been a huge fantasy asset to this point in the season. That being said, Paddack has been better in his past few starts. Keep an eye on if the Padres continue limiting his innings, as that could negatively impact his overall fantasy value. Paddack's next start should come against the Mariners. Fantasy managers should be very comfortable starting him in that matchup.
