Pirates GM Ben Cherington says 3B Ke'Bryan Hayes (wrist) will begin a minor league rehab assignment "some time in the next several days." (Jason Mackey on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is excellent news as Hayes is finally ready to return to game action. Pittsburgh is still mapping out exactly what this rehab assignment will look like. The timeline for an actual return to the big leagues is still up in the air.
