Mike Trout (calf) lands on the 10-day IL, out 6-8 weeks

The Angels placed star OF Mike Trout on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain. He reportedly will be out six to eight weeks. (Mike Giovanna on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Trout exited Monday’s game against Cleveland early with a right calf strain. He will be sidelined for the next 6-to-8 weeks and could return right around the All-Star break. It’s a tough break for Trout and his fantasy managers as they will be without the star outfielder for an extended period. Before the injury, Trout slashed .333/.456/.624 across 146 plate appearances in 2021. The Angels reportedly will not call up top prospects Jo Adell or Brandon Marsh to replace Trout at this time.
