Hisashi Iwakuma is placed on 15-day DL, will have MRI

Hisashi Iwakuma suffered a strained lat muscle and was placed on the 15-day DL Friday. For now the extent of his absence is unknown, but the results of his upcoming MRI will give us a better estimate of how long to expect him out.
Fantasy Impact:
This is a big blow to the Mariners' rotation and fantasy owner as well. But maybe it will be good for Iwakuma to take some time off and get healthy. He has not been himself so far this year, giving up four earned runs in each of his three starts. Roenis Elias will be called up from Triple-A Tacoma to take the spot of Iwakuma in the rotation.
