Miguel Cabrera homers twice

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera went 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in a 7-5 win over the Royals on Friday.

Cabrera hit a solo shot in the second inning and then launched the sixth grand slam of his storied career in the seventh. The two-homer night puts Cabrera at 491 long balls in his career as he chases the 500-home run milestone. Overall, Cabrera is hitting .204 with four homers and 16 RBI this year.
