Cardinals left-hander Kwang Hyun Kim lasted just 5 2/3 innings on Monday, giving up five hits, three earned runs, and three walks while striking out five in a 5-1 loss to the White Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

Kim was cruising with five scoreless innings and a 1-0 lead until the bottom of the sixth inning when he surrendered a two-run homer to Andrew Vaughn. Another run would come around to score after Kim was removed from the game, as he was dealt his second loss of the season. Kim will take a 1-2 record with a 3.09 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into a weekend start against the Diamondbacks.
