Brett de Geus allows four runs in poor relief outing

by Andersen Pickard | Mariners Correspondent | Wed, May 26th 9:00am EDT

Rangers reliever Brett de Geus struggled greatly on Tuesday, allowing four runs over just 1.2 innings of work out of the bullpen. The game was already out of hand before de Geus entered, but his mid-game struggles forced Texas to keep digging into its supply of relievers rather than save their arms for later in the series vs. the Angels.

Fantasy Impact:

Through 15 games, the rookie owns a massive 7.97 ERA, 1.67 WHIP, and .288 OBA. He's walked 11 batters, plunked four, and struck out 17.
