Jakob Junis allowed a run on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings of Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Rays.

Junis entered Thursday’s game in the third inning and allowed six baserunners across two 1/3 frames during Thursday’s loss. Since being demoted to the bullpen in early May, Junis owns a 9.64 ERA, 2.04 WHIP, and a 7:4 K: BB in his last nine innings. Junis has given the Royals no reason to be brought back into the rotation and should be left on the waiver in the majority of fantasy leagues.
