Miles Mikolas (forearm) expects to be re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks

Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas expects to be re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks after a second opinion from Dr. Andrews. Mikolas has a "small calcification in his flexor tendon." However, it sounds like Mikolas doesn't have a UCL injury and expects to pitch this season. (Jeff Jones on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After only four innings pitched in 2021, it's somewhat good news that Mikolas hopes to pitch again this season. However, he's not worth hanging onto in leagues with no IL spots. Mikolas is more of a name to monitor if we receive positive news closer to his return date.
