Ralph Garza Jr. allows three runs in loss

Pitching in his first career game on Saturday, Astros reliever Ralph Garza Jr. was instantly met with a high-leverage situation. Called on to pitch the 12th inning of a tied game against the Padres, Garza could not convert. He allowed three runs on two hits and one walk. The Astros were unable to come back in the bottom of the frame, so Garza was hit with the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Garza had thrown 6.1 innings of scoreless ball in Triple-A this season, earning him a promotion to the majors. He had also walked just three batters while striking out 11 prior to the callup.
