Dylan Carlson homers on Sunday in loss to Arizona

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, May 30th 10:43pm EDT

Dylan Carlson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 9-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact:

The homer was Carlson's fourth of the season, but just hit first since April 7th, more than seven weeks ago. The switch-hitting outfielder was a popular breakout pick coming into the season but has underwhelmed so far, hitting just .270 with a .763 OPS to go with 28 runs scored, four homers, and 22 RBI in 51 games. He's also yet to attempt a stolen base, which was thought to be part of his fantasy appeal coming into the season.
