Elieser Hernandez exits Thursday’s start early with an apparent injury

Hernandez pulled up while running from third base to home in the top of the sixth inning. He was helped off the field as a result. Hernandez returned Thursday from the 10-day injured list after missing the start of the season due to a biceps injury. The severity of Hernandez’s injury is unknown at this time and an update will be provided after the game. Hernandez allowed one run on three hits while striking out six across five innings before exiting.
