Mike Foltynewicz drops to 1-6 on the season

2021 has been a year to forget for Rangers starter Mike Foltynewicz. He fell to 1-6 on Thursday after allowing five runs over 3.2 innings against the Rockies. The 29-year-old also allowed eight hits, though he did not walk anyone. He also struck out a pair of Colorado batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Through 12 starts this year, Foltynewicz owns a 4.75 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and .281 OBA. These aren't outrageous numbers, but the fact of the matter is that Texas has been unable to rely on Folty. He's also allowed 16 walks and 13 home runs while striking out 46 batters. The former Atlanta Brave should be left on waivers in all formats.
