Jose Trevino hits two-run homer in big ninth inning

by Andersen Pickard | Yankees Correspondent | Fri, Jun 4th 9:27am EDT

The Rangers may have lost on Thursday, but they put together a four-run ninth inning. Catcher Jose Trevino contributed to the effort with a two-run home run in the frame. All in all, he finished the day 1-for-4 with the homer and a strikeout.

Fantasy Impact:

Trevino continues to hover around .250 this year. He now sports a .254/.273/.325 slash line with two homers, 11 RBI, four walks, and 29 strikeouts. He's put the bat to the ball well this season, but his low home run, walk, and stolen base (zero) rates deplete him of fantasy relevance. He's best left on waivers.
