Nate Pearson allowed five runs on three hits and two walks over four innings in his latest start for Triple-A Buffalo.
Pearson struck out eight, but he continues to frustrate fantasy managers seeking consistency. He has now given up a combined nine earned runs over his past two starts, and questions remain about his effectiveness as a starting pitcher. Pearson doesn't appear close to a big league callup right now. Perhaps he'll make his way to the majors as a reliever later this summer.
