Francisco Alvarez went 1-for-2 with a homer, a walk, and two runs scored in Friday's game for High-A Brooklyn.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez was recently promoted to High-A but has struggled a bit in eight games, hitting .192 with two homers. He was absolutely tearing the cover off the ball in 15 games for Low-A St. Lucie, so he has earned a bit of a leash following the promotion. Alvarez is just 19 years old and already considered one of the best catching prospects in baseball.
