Josh Staumont (knee) allowed one hit while striking one across a scoreless inning during Sunday’s 2-1 loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Staumont was reinstated from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. He returned to action and fire a scoreless frame during Sunday’s loss. Staumont is expected to resume closing duties for the Royals and is 5-for-5 in save opportunities in 2021. The 27-year-old owns a 2.66 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and a 26:13 K:BB across 23 2/3 innings in 2021.
