Liam Hendriks struck out two over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Sunday’s 3-0 win over the Tigers.

Hendriks entered the ninth inning to preserve a 3-0 lead. He was his usual dominant self and struck out two to earn his 15th save of the season during Sunday’s win. Slydah has now converted 11 straight saves and hasn’t allowed a run since April 29th. Hendriks owns a microscopic 1.85 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, and a 40:3 K: BB across 24 1/3 innings in 2021.
