The last seven games that Drew has a hit, he has an extra base hit and he also has 10 RBI this season. Drew can still be a very valuable player with a sub-.200 batting average; in fact, only Jose Bautista and Russell Martin have more RBI and a lower batting average than Drew. The Yankees 2B is tied for sixth in RBI for 2B and is tied for second in HR; even with his poor batting average, Drew ranks 12th in OPS for 2B, ahead of top 2B Ian Kinsler and Robinson Cano. Drew is a suitable option for 2B/SS, especially since he has played in 18 of 20 of the Yankees' games.
